What the course is for
Cybersecurity Defenders proactively protect an organisation’s systems from attack. They are the first responders to security breaches and are responsible for hardening information systems and keeping them compliant with legislation.
What you will be able to do
- Detect cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities in the organisation’s security posture.
- Defend against threats and prevent system intrusions.
- Evaluate the security posture to enhance resilience.
Why it matters
The shift to remote and hybrid work changed the threat landscape, and the Cybercrimes Act of 2020 changed how security specialists must operate. As hacking and data breaches increase, demand for cybersecurity people is outpacing supply.
