DHET
Registers us as a private college and sets the national N-course examinations, which are written here at our own examination centre.
Umalusi
Certifies the N1–N3 engineering studies qualifications and the National Certificate (Vocational). Your N-course certificate is issued by Umalusi, not by the college.
SAQA
Maintains the National Qualifications Framework. Every qualification we offer carries a SAQA ID, listed on its course page — look any of them up to confirm the title, NQF level and credits.

Contact usNo. N4, N5 and N6 are separate certificates. Once you hold all three and have completed 18 months of relevant practical work, you can apply to the DHET for the National N Diploma in that field.
An occupational qualification is a full qualification with knowledge, practical and workplace components, usually 120 credits or more, ending in an external assessment. A skills programme is a shorter part-qualification, typically 20 to 60 credits, focused on one job-ready skill. Many skills programmes carry credits into the full qualification.
Yes. Qualifications registered on the NQF and certified by the QCTO, Umalusi or the DHET are recognised nationally. The certificate is issued by the quality council, not by the college.

Recognition of Prior Learning is available on most occupational qualifications and skills programmes. We assess what you can already do and identify the gaps that still need training.
It means the QCTO has inspected our premises and approved us to conduct the final external assessments for those qualifications, not only to teach them. Students can be assessed here rather than travelling to another centre.
